A humble namaste
Namaste to all.
Namaste from an ordinary Indian woman .why did I introduce myself as ordinary when I have believed vice versa ever since I was born . May be an exaggeration of my mind to mistake my never fitting into the box attitude to something great or godly . Born in a place where girl children are considered a gift and not a curse ,I must say that I was quiet previlleged as a youngster .born in a country where our country "herself" is addressed as maa ( mother) , I must be a born divinity ..isn't it..? Yes. .am one ! ..Am yukti ..bhakti and Shakti in myself.. probably it's inherent in me . From my own mother, or grandmother or any other woman with whome I have crossed my paths with..everyone one of us are .
I was a believer of Lord Krishna ever. .as a child , I was a kid who was never listened to , for valid reasons though ..i was seldom taken seriously...so I started creating a space for myself where the God himself was a mute spectator. a character who was assigned the duty of listening and never reciprocating .and as I grew up , I started worshipping the goddesses in all their forms May that be fierce or friendly .goddess sita became my Torchlight..and I started finding her visions in many around me..I witnessed many sita's and durga's and lakshmi's around me ....ironically ,the always calm child in me grew up to an intolerant fire ..may be cause I realized that the whole of universe is feminine. As I remember the verse from bhagavat gita which says " I alone is a male ..the whole universe is female "
And here I fold my hands to the supreme power ..the creator , the nourisher ..the mother. On this of occasion of Navratri ..as I start a new journey , I seek your blessings with a humble namaste.
